I noticed there are a few bug fixes re IE6+Proxy regarding Hotmail access but just now I had a user who kept receiving a ‘400’ error from the routeros proxy after submitting to the ‘live sign-in’.
I disabled transparent proxy in the default hotspot user profile and this fixed the issue.
RouterOS version 2.9.31
and yes, I will be upgrading these hotspots to 2.9.39 shortly.
Report back if you will have the same problems with HotMail using 2.9.39 version.
Hi, I am triying to implement transparent web-proxy+hotspot+radius authentification.
I got hotspot+radius atentification working great¡¡ 
but…
when I try to implement transparent web-proxy… The status of the web-proxy shows no activity and It’s reflected when I try to oppen a heavy web page.
The only configuration that seems to work for me is to use a NAT rule to redirect the trafic from port 80 to the web-proxy port using pre-hotspot chain… but if I enable this rule… the hotspot does not show me the login screen for the hotspot, the only whay to see the login window is to type it directly in the web-browser.
What am I doing wrong??
