wanted to know
I have hotspot system install on my router - works great
now I want to be able to show file in the login page - the file isn’t in the hotspot directory
can I do this?
or when a user connect to the router he only have access to the hotspot directory?

the wall garden feature is specifically designet for this purpose try to allow ftp connection to your router

You can use other files, just make sure they are in the /hotspot/ directory or below otherwise the user will not be able to access them.
With that said, you can create a hotspot folder named anything and point the hotspot server profile to use it then add your own files, images.. here is an example of one I did for a customer a while ago which has a custom image.. but you can do much more.
I once did a hotspot server that gave no internet access but had a HTML5 copy of Mario loaded on the router
