Hello everybody.
In my application, on each site, two kinds of customers reach the local MT through the same radio system, involving APs, bridgs, repeaters, … Works perfectly.
The first kind are hotspot users, managed by the hotspot module of the local MT, on the LAN interface. Works perfectly.
The second kind are let’s say ‘regular users’, long term contracts, with fixed IP config, and binded as ‘bypassed’ in the hotspot config. Works perfectly for the Internet access.
My problem is about the viewability of the fixed IP equipments. Seems to be spoiled from time to time by the hotspot. For exemple, it is not all the time possible to ping the antennas (even with an excellent radio association), which is bothering in the customer antena tuning. And this appears also for cable-connected equipments to the MT.
When it occurs, the message I get is that the ISP gateway does’nt know the IP I want to ping. Look like the routing local rule does’nt take effect, for normally the MT should not route this packet to the ISP, for it is on the local network.
And this behaviour appears on several sites, so that if I made a mistake, I repeated it.
Maybe I did something wrong, but really don’t know…
Any idea ?
