I’m trying to configure a mikrotik as a hotspot with a few ap-4000. By now, I’ve tested it by directly conecting to the ethernet hotspot interface, and it works fine, all web trafic is redirected to the login page, and I have no connection to anywhere if I’m not logged in.
So, the next step was to connect the AP to this interface. Previously, I configured it with no autentication, and to redirect all the traffic of the associated stations to the mikrotik, so it acts like a bridge. At a first sight, it seems to work: you can connect to the network but you have no connection, and all the web traffic is redirected to the login page, as it is supposed to be. The problem is that when I log in, with a valid or invalid user, the system just crashes. I mean, the mikrotik just stops working, and gets blocked. I have to say that the first time I tryied this configuration, it worked, so I started to make little config changes, like firewall rules and stuff like that, nothing that would make the system crash. But after a couple of hours, It stoped working, suddenly.
Is there anything wrong with that configuration?? anything I should change? any idea on what is wrong??
