Hotspot without masquarade

Hi All,

I have a few production systems running hotspots that are masqueraded, however due to user tracking requirements I need to change this setup to no longer use masquerading.

My question is if I simply implement a pool of public IP addresses and disable the masquerade rule will the Hotspot continue to work as normal?

I would normally just test this, but at present I do not have access to a test bed.

Thanks!

Yes, but you must also turn off all address pools on the Hotspot profile and user profiles. Those would enable the Universal NAT feature of the Hotspot outside of the usual NAT performed for private addressing.
