How about the Hope cost in MESH network?

Hello, I have a single link wireless mesh network(RB411AH) that
“A → B–> C–> D–>E”, and the speed is about 30Mbps between
the neighbors.
However, I can get only ~15Mbps between A and C
~10Mbps between A and D
~7Mbps between A and E
That’s say there is about (1/n) hope cost for every hope.
What’s wrong with it ?

If each one of these is a single radio mesh node you lose half your bandwidth for each hop. So if you have 30Mbps to your first you are going to halve that between each hop afterwards. So theoretically it would go from 30 to 15 to 7.5 to 3.25
