how can i change my IP

Hi all,

I use RouterOS v2.9 as my server, i can’t view some american based websites, how do i change my ip on this server to enable me view this sites.

you can’t. you must use some proxy or vpn tunnel to another country if you want to change the IP you are coming from.

thanks for your reply, what proxy or vpn do you recommend, if i have to change my original ip to read another country. I use a RouterOS v2.9

MikroTik won’t advertize others’ paid services (yes, VPNs are not free). use Google =)

of course if you have a friend in another country with a routerboard, you can make such a tunnel yourself :slight_smile: otherwise, it’s like Chupaka said.

or you can always try Tor, it’s free (but slow)
