Hi, I would like to know if someone could tell me how can I clean “information” from a data source. My dude.db is about 100MB and I do not want to keep some old data.
Is there a way to clean historic data from and specific data source without removing the link or the data sources at all.
Thank you very much.
There is a bug in the dude 4.0 that if you click on a device and click copy all the history data is lost for that device. I don’t think that is exactly what you are looking for… You could lower the “Keep Times” for every one of the chart times much lower to reduce amount of data stored.
Thanks lebowski, I have already used the Keep time option in graphs but I would like to know if I can delete a period data from a data sources. I saw that in dude.db is keeping the RRD information but I want to know how can I delete some information.
Thanks again.
Unfortunately it is gone, that used to be accessible through a chart menu, you could drill down to the probe and click on a data tab and see the raw values, they removed that tab in version 4.x. I asked about it but got no response.
If you are seriously looking for a project you could start cracking into the database then extract the xml and chart where they put everything, or they could just publish their database specification. ![]()
