Hi, to manage proper the roaming between AP I've used spicific access lists for each CAP, today I'm shocked to figure out, all interfaces moved to "unknow", how that happened? The router wasn't updated, maybe power has been lost, but this is horrible news for me to now this settings are not reliable, as resut I had several devices out of work.
Is this beacuse in provisioning I specified create dynamic enable? How can I declare all CAPS static to get back the access list in case of reboot? Thank you
I think you need action=create-enabled instead of create-dynamic-enabled.
With Wireless you should consider "Basic Rates" and "Supported Rates" instead.
RSSI Threshold / Client Reject
This feature is not recommended. It sets an RSSI cutoff that disconnects devices when they reach the set value.
Example: You set a cutoff value that causes the AP to disconnect devices at 80 % of the AP’s maximum transmit power. The client device doesn’t understand why it disconnected and can potentially get stuck in a loop trying to reconnect. The customer perceives this as a W iFi issue, and it’s going to drain the client device’s battery.
