Hey Guys
I just wanted to know how to do some basic routing say like from tower 1 using RB750 to my main office how would I access tower one from main office.
Sorry, but I don’t understand your question.
Add an IP address and ROS will start routing ![]()
ok what I was trying to say is this:
I want to access my RB’s from main office that are on a tower (im trying get WISP going here) so I need to know if there is ports or anything that I would to access the RB’s from tower to main office.
so I need to know if there is ports or anything that I would to access the RB’s from tower to main office.
That sentence makes no sense ![]()
OK, let’s view a standard configuration:
+-----+ +-----+ +----+ +-------+
| ISP |-------------| R1 |--------| R2 |--- .... ---| Cust. |
+-----+ | +-----+ +----+ +-------+
|
+--------+
| Office |
+--------+
You would then create simple transfer networks between routers and give each router a global IP (do this by creating a bridge without ports and assigning a /32 IP).
Then configure static routes or OSPF and you can access your routers from anywhere in your network…
well how do I setup the “Then configure static routes or OSPF and you can access your routers from anywhere in your network”
timreichhart, there are lots and lots of different ways to configure your RBs, each with it’s ups and downs. Show us a diagram and then describe exactly want you want to achieve.
