How can I Simutaneously apply QoS on my WLAN and LAN interfaces?

Hi, I’m a complete noob on MikroTik and I just got my 1st HAP Lite 941-2nd Classic last month. I’ve been trying to come up with a QoS config for all 3 of my Interfaces (LAN 2, LAN3 and WLAN) that have individual sub-nets.

I hope someone more knowledgeable about configs could help answer my 2 questions.

  1. Is it best to Limit per interface (LAN 2, LAN3 and WLAN) bandwidth on Simple Queues and then do QoS on Queue Tree Mangles?

  2. Would it be ok for me to replicate the Client Queues I had on LAN 3 to both my WLAN and LAN2 knowing that my CPU and RAM are very low-end?

A very open question. You’ll get a lot of varying opinions on how to do this.
Your hap lite isn’t the strongest of CPU devices so really you want to use Mangle as little as possible as it will eat through CPU.

Initially limit by interface using simple queues but the bigger question is what do you want to achieve with QoS? What are you wanting to prioritise or hold back?

Do you need a full QoS setup? Could you get away with a simple queue on your WAN interface sharing bandwidth between all?
