How do i Configure Bridge and repeater on the same Mikrotik

Hi all,
I have a wireless AP (Model linksys) configured as an Access point and WPA2 personal as security. Is it possible to connect my Mikrotik to the linksys

  1. the internet connection is Bridge to my LAN -ether X. (at the mikrotik side)
  2. repeater the connection so other laptops can connect to it? -WLAN2 (mikrotik side)
    If yes can some please explain how i can go about this.

Hi, its very easy if you make this with virtual APs. Create virtual aps in interfaces and configure one as a station and another as ap bridge..

But i recomend you to use 2 radios with the rb600. This is better because you can use 2 channels.

You can do it on one radio card, but you’ll get much better speeds if you use two.

how do i take care of the WPA2 personal authentication between the Linksys and Mikrotik? since the linksys has WPA2 personal enabled on it (working as an AP).
This is the part am have problems with..

Create a security profile in wireless/security profiles and assign it to the virtual ap interface in wireless tab of doubleclick in the virtual interface
