How do i know a 600mW mini pci card

Hello,
Can anyone tell me how to differentiate a 600mW mini PCI card from others? I got this card mixed-up and i need to differentiate this cards (software or physical description are welcome).
Thanks.

Greetings!

Normally, there is some kind of ID on the card. Do you know what brand and model it is? I have even found the manufacturer of a card with the MAC number or the FCC ID. There are only a few cards at 600mw. If is an XR2 or XR5, it will have a larger antenna connector on it. MMCX rather than u.fl.

If it is being used in the U.S., it MUST have an FCC ID.

thanks for the response. I need to know the unique identification of the cards(physical, label or software wise).
I got:

  1. 600mw
  2. 300mw &
  3. 65mw
I will appreciate a better description of each of the card.
    Thanks,

Noted the mac address, because you 'll find out what miniPCI is that from its mac address.

:sunglasses:

You really can’t tell much from the hardware. It is the label or silkscreen markings. Like I said earlier, if it does not have a FCC ID, you can’t use it in the US.

Are there any markings on those cards? Or is this going to be a long-winded guessing-game? I don’t do essay answers on the first date.

just tell us the mac address(es) and we’ll tell which one is which

Thanks guys. Here are the mac Address:
1). 00:0C:42:0C:FE:1E
2). 00:0C:42:0C:FD:F3

I got FCC ID on both cards.
Thanks!

great!!! you have the same manufacturer  can’t tell

Gonna need the FCC IDs for this one. EDIT: Are you sure those cards are different? Those MACs are really close! They appear to be in the MikroTik MAC range. I just checked my R52Hs and their MACs are very close to yours. Silkscreen should say R52-350 if it is a R52H.

yea! on my Silkscreen i got R52 on both card. to be more clear, both cards are 2.4GH.

  1. 00:0C:42:0C:FE:1E fcc id =TV7R52
  2. 00:0C:42:0C:FD:F3 fcc id =TV7R52
    Remember both cards are 2.4GHz
    Thanks

Maybe I am having an off day, but those are the same card. Both appear to be MikroTik R52s. I have the R52H, and as far as I am aware, that is the most powerful of the MikroTik line. No 600mw. 350mw is the most powerful.

SurferTim, i think you are not getting me right. I just need to know their output capacity.

The R52 is 79mw.

actualy if those are R52 then they are not 2Ghz, but 802.11abg (2 and 5Ghz)
