referring to this:
https://www.router-reset.com/reset-manuals/MikroTik/RouterBOARD-hAP-lite-RB941-2nD-TC
I was trying to unbundle an interface from the default bridge that includes all LAN ports and disabled the bridge port, blocking access… lol I’m a noob.
tried hold reset for 30… unplug while holding reset, then plugging it back in after 30 seconds while still pressing reset. I didn’t see any outward signs that a reset occurred.
yes, I tried connecting to my PC and setting a static IP of 192.168.88.100…
so what do I do?
You could try as the manual stated:
RouterBOOT reset button (RESET, front panel) has three functions:
- Hold this button during boot time until LED light starts flashing, release the button to reset
RouterOS configuration (total 5 seconds)
- Keep holding for 5 more seconds, LED turns solid, release now to turn on CAPs mode (total 10
seconds)
- Or Keep holding the button for 5 more seconds until until LED turns off, then release it to make the
RouterBOARD look for Netinstall servers (total 15 seconds)
So first turn the device OFF, than do the above…
