Does any one know how to make your own auto-before-reset.backup file?
If so what are the steps; can you use notepad to edit it?
Thanks

Hmm…
I think you have to do a backup to make the backup file but I do not understand how you make it super generic so that it can exist on any router board. I just want basic configs like IP address bound to it and maybe a system name. If so then I can make a custom API to connect so that I can allow installers in the field to do their own quick programming.
Any thoughts would really help me. Thanks.

Ok I can see that you have the option to see the script but I do not see the part where you can edit it. Or save your file as a different format. does any one know how to do that?
