How do you manage Mikrotik and Ubiquiti mixed networks?

There are probably lots of you who use Mikrotik and Ubiquiti devices in your network.

Can you please share your experience how do you manage and monitor your whole network. Do you have two systems for monitoring - one for each group of devices or just one monitoring software?

Any if you switched from having two monitoring systems to one please also share how that went before and after.

How do you manage your devices? Do you manage Ubiquiti devices? How do you manage Mikrotik devices?

Cheers!

You can monitor both using the dude.

Ubiquity manageability features (web, ssh) is very poor, but you can integrate it into the dude, by right clicking on a device then tools > web, telnet, ssh…

But Dude is Windows desktop only application, right? Is there some Mikrotik management app that I could run on headless linux server as web app?

Dude server is not windows application anymore.

Dude is not windows application anymore.

From ROS 6.34.4/6.53rc the dude is now split on server packages, available for x86, CHR and Tile platform.

Web interface has been ditched, has now a windows client.

Windows client is wine compatible, so useable from any Wine supported platform: FreeBSD, Linux, Mac OS X…

This would be a rather nice bootcamp foundation to start: http://mum.mikrotik.com/presentations/EU16/presentation_2893_1457350837.pdf (http://mum.mikrotik.com/2016/EU/agenda)
