how do you modify wireless link graphic shown on map panes..

I’m sure there’s a way, but not finding it in manual or forum…

Must be a way to adjust or scale the ‘zig or zag’ of the graphic representation, as shown above. This ‘default’ takes up too much room and they overlap one another on a busy map, obviously.

I see where you can kind of ‘Scale’ the text box (apparently) from a right-click ‘Appearance’ window, but I can’t figure out how to modify the link image.

A pointer to the instructions will be much appreciated…

Thanks.

Just modify the style for the link type. Double click any link, on the end of the type line is . and …, click on …

Thanks again for responding, Lebowski.

I had previously gotten that far - what I’m hoping to do is modify the ‘zigzag’ style - which is the typical default for a wireless link.. I’m trying to make it a much smaller ‘zig’ so to speak. I was hoping there were ‘handles’ on the graphic itself, that would let someone modify (stretch, expand, shrink, etc.) the image depicted. There do not appear to be any ‘handles’ on the graphic itself, and the only parameter that appears to be adjustable is the ‘Thickness’ - which helps some, but doesn’t help with the ‘zig’ - so to speak.

Am I missing something, I hope?

Ahh yes that zigzag is horrendous  but I think you are SOL :frowning: I don’t use the zigzag anywhere.
I made a dashed line for wireless which works well, bigger dash for faster links. I hope you will find the maps look cleaner without them.

Lebowski. Thanks for the karma!
