How is v4 working in wireless for everyone??

Hey All,
I’m slowly rolling out v4 across the network and wondering if there have been strange issues with it?
How the wireless connections working for everyone??

OK - 1st problem - not sure how bad but an issue. RB133 that has been stable for months with never a disconnect handling a SR5 and XR5 totally freaked out - dropping connections faster then I’ve ever seen one before. Downgrading back to 3.28 to see if it fixes issue and then will try again.

OK - this is just plain wierd!
I downgraded - no difference
Changed freqs and every other setting I could think of - no different.
Upgraded back to v4 - same crap.
Out of desperation - I turned off compression - instant fix - back to solid connections - go figure.
Maybe one of you MT gods can explain that to me - PLEASE!!!
I’m gonna go to bed - hope to have an answer when I get back.

I’m finding that I’m having a lot more disconnects(5.8 AP-Brg) now and that most of them are AP-Brgs that I haven’t had a problem ever. All are backhaul. Hypersensitive?

2.4APs seem to be working great!

How do I use the settings in the “HW Protection Mode”?

  2. none
  3. rts cts
    Which one??
