Hi, I’m new in this kind of programs, and I have a lot tips all of you, and I have a requirement, I want to monitor if for example a mouse or a keyboard or a USBSerial or Centinel, are connected or disconected of a computer or server, This is to be aware of the staling on remote sites, but I don’t know how do this, I think that in the MIB are something that a OID have a value that say if a mouse are connected or not, or is a USB port are busy or not. please MASTERS could you help me on this?
Simply put USB is not tracked by SNMP counters. In actually it can be but it is not built into windows and I don’t know the exact steps to take to add SNMP USB counters to windows. If you figure that out I will help build probes. Maybe search USB SNMP OID and/or add USB SNMP Windows. Or are your servers Linux?
