I do not need theoretical answers, but answers from reality. My vision is that there will be ideal LOS between AP and Client and the coverage area will be not more than 1-2km. The multicast stream i mean will be iptv mpeg2 ts 4-6Mbit/s and i exept you know, that channel zap (changing) also takes some extra bandwidth during the igmp leave/join procedure.
Lets say the we are going to use nv2 dualchain and hw. configuration will be:
AP:
RB435G
R52HN
Ubiquiti Air Max 5GHz Sector Antenna, Dual Polarization, MIMO, 20dBi, 90 degrees
CLIENT:
MIKROTIK RouterBoard SXT 5HnD dual polarized 16 dBi antenna MIMO (2x2)
Im sure there are a lot of users testing/producting the iptv.
NB! Concurrent i mean the quantity of real iptv “CLIENT-s” the AP can serve.
