How ot measure jitter?

Hello,

I have two 433UAH Routeboards , each with a R52Hn wifi card, I need to do test that requires me measure:

1 ) throughput in UDP protocol
2) the Jitter
between an AP bridge broadcasting a 802.11n network (the first board) and a station (second board)

while measuring throughput is straightforward using bandwidth tool, I did not find a way to measure jitter,
I read the traffic generator section
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Tools/Traffic_Generator
and
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Performance_Testing_with_Traffic_Generator#Traffic_Generator_Config

I followed the instructions but got no Jitter values, can someone please give me the steps that I need to do to read jitter values for the testing setup that I have?

I don’t think that you can get jitter figures within routeros. Try using a server with smokeping or use a script like tho one mentioned here:
