Hi everyone
I have
1-Metal 5SHPN in AP mode
2-Omni-Directional Antenna “AOA-5815” from alfa

I want to change my metal 5SHPN from vertical to horizontal

When I read about specification of omni “AOA-5815” I noticed that Beamwidth H: 360° / V: 7°

any ideas

hey,

what are you wanting to change is the polarization of the antenna.

using an omni antenna antenna will always have a wider Horizontal coverage. that is what an omni antenna is meant to do.

Metal 5SHPN is a radio and radios don’t have any polarizations.

so try changing your antenna… not the radio :slight_smile:

Antenna is good, you just lack the basics in wireless.
