Hi there.
I have 2 routers in my lan in different c-class networks.
I forwared the 8291 port to one of them from my nat of dsl router.
How may access the other one from the wan using the winbox?
Is that possible?
Thx

to save you some time i know you CAN NOT change the port of winbox.
Maybe you can use a nat rule with action net map that looks on say tcp port 9000 and then net maps to the correct internal IP and port 8192.
that may work…or you can do what i do and just VPN into my one public IP MT box and then access my 18 MT access point boxes nat’d behind that IP (i just dial up their private ips then)
OR (if you have a MT box @ your location too)
you could do a EOIP tunnel to the job site and then connect to each via MAC addy.

EDIT: crap i just reread your post, so the box doing the routing and NATing is NOT MT? then i think VPNing through the dsl Router/ NAT to a MT box is your best bet…or replace that router with an MT box…i promise you it will do a better job ![]()
