I have successfully setup an L2TP VPN tunnel via this site, however I can’t seem to access my windows file shares. Other services seem to work fine though, such accessing my uTorrent Web UI via its local ip address. I can ping other devices on the network, but for whatever reason I can’t ping my computer nor access its file share. Because of this I’m thinking it is a local firewall rule on the computer, though I thought I would check here first in case.
Edit: It was in fact a Windows firewall rule. I just allowed all local traffic inbound (10.0.0.1/23) and that worked; my VPN IP pool is on the 10.0.1.x subnet.
