How to Achieve Maximum Throughput on MikroTik Sectors? (Mantbox/QRT/SXT)

Hello,

I’m facing a performance limitation on multiple MikroTik sector devices (Mantbox 15s, Mantbox 19s, QRT-5, SXT 5 ac).

No matter what wireless configuration I apply, the TX throughput never exceeds ~35 Mbps at peak, even though the link quality and CCQ are stable and the clients are all using SXT SQ Lite 5 units.

I have tested different channel widths (20 / 20-40 CE / 40 MHz), different data rates, NV2, 802.11, and various wireless settings, but the maximum TX remains capped around 35 Mbps.

My question:

What are the recommended wireless configuration parameters to achieve the maximum possible performance on these sector devices?

And is there any specific configuration required on the CPE side (SXT SQ Lite 5) to unlock higher TX throughput?

Thank you

Is this a direct btest from the sector device to the client (or visa versa).

If not, try the btest and see what it gives.
(If its only 35Mbps you are not going to be working either end cpu very hard)

You could also look at cpu usage in /system/resources and make sure it makes sense.
