I am using mikrotik for my personal use version 3.3 from about one month. I by passed the traffic from mikrotik without any authentication and now when i added a new NIC in the system and tried to configure Hotspot it is also done. In the forums i studied that pppoe server and hotspot can run on one interface. I tried it and found that there is some problem in it. Someone told me to put some rule in the mangle to solve the problem and so on.
The problem is this that when i connect that interface into the switch the CPU usage rises to 50% + and the users of pppoe server also redirecting to the hotspot login page even they are connected via pppoe dialler.
Also i tried one more thing, i only configured pppoe server on that interface and connected RB1100 with hotspot on the same switch. Still the problem same. Should i enable DHCP on pppoe ip pool ?
