how to allow white list using proxy or filter rules???

Hi ,

i am trying to allow white list of websites and rest of them i want to block (deny) using ip web-proxy.
but the problem is for example …

i allowed *.hotmail.com
and last rule is deny everything
– i can get the hotmail page but after login its redirect to another domain and proxy block it.

so i have to check one by one and i have to look after main page of any website redirect to which place.

so is there any way i can allow all website that i have in whitelist and rest of them i can block.???

i also want to block — exe , zip , rar , media files…

in this situation firewall filter rules is useful ???

plz help me.

It makes sense to me. If the last rule is to deny everything you have to dig deep in the code of each whitelisted website finding all redirects and create whitelisting rules for each one of the target domains. I am afraid there is nothing else you can do.
As for file blocking you can still use the proxy. See at the bottom half of this page: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/How_to_Block_Websites
