How to avoid downloading big background image

Hi,

The background image is downloading every time i’m connecting to remote Dude. The image is very heavy. Is it possible to cache those image on client side?

I’m using the Dude 3.6v.

There is no caching of backgrounds. How big is your image? Can you recreate it as a PNG or lower the quality of a JPG to reduce it?

I also suggest you to convert it to some other format, so that the image file takes up less space (but looks the same)

Hi,

Thank you for the advice.

I had 27,3MB of bmp image, now it is 1,94MB (PNG).
