I’m going to simplify my question since the other topic remained unanswered.
Let’s say I have a CRS125-24G and
- ether 2 … 24 are set as slave of ether1
- Machine A is attached to ether3, has a MAC address of aa.bb.cc.11.22.33 and an IP address of 196.168.1.3
I want to exclude Machine A from switch traffic if it’s IP address changes. Can I bind its IP to its MAC address and/or to the switch port?
In other words, I want to be sure that only if a machine has that IP/MAC couple can actually send/receive traffic.
In alternative, I want to be sure that only if a machine has that IP and is attached to that port can actually send/receive traffic.
