How to block facebook and Internet download manager

Hi all,

I want to block facebook and Internet Download Manager using microtik.

I have tired many times with Regexp rule at Layer7 Protocols, in order to block the facebook for our local network but it does not work.

Please advise. Thanks.

for facebook it work for me:

/ip dns static
add address=127.0.0.1 name=".*\\(^\\|\\.\\)facebook\\.com"

For Facebook use IP block
you can search for the Facebook IPs…
