How to block smb ports and ransomeware ports

Please showme how to block smb ports and ransomeware ports in routeros.

You are pulling at the wrong horse. Routers are the interface between the outside and inside.

If someone activate the ransomware then it is already inside and out of reach of RouterOs.

Patch your systems and instruct you employees to never ever open attachments that are suspicious or unexpected.

i need help on how to block specific ports, thank you

So port 445 but RouterOs is not the place to look.

If only it was as easy as blocking a ransomware port to protect a network.

if i would like to block external smb port comunications to my local network what filter should i use? i want to firewall all port 445 traffic incoming.

if you didn’t explicit redirected the port from outside ton ONE IP inside, you won’t have SMB traffic in the router form outside to inside.

If you virus/problem is inside, the routers is NOTHING there…
