Always to do Point to point with AP wiath RB433 or RB800; i ask me a questions.
Is it better to use 3 AP with 2R52HN and 1 RB433AH or 1 RB800 each, and 6 antennas (14DBI 16DBI 21 DBI???) of 60°
or
1 AP with 1 RB800 and 2 R52HN (or 1 ap 433AG and 3 R52) with 3 antennas (14DBI 16DBI 21 DBI???) of 120°
i really need to have powerfull signal

I should see configuration with N or just A/B and G
I need to do Point to multipoint in360° to cover city in Africa . il will have all pestle (antenna relay) i want to put my AP.
But some people said to me it is better to put 6 antennas of 60° than 3 of 120° because signal is more powerfull with antenna of 60°.
In my side i need to have the better system for wifi coverage, cost is not really important thing.
It is the reason i search the good antenna because also i don’t see what could be the signifance of DBI.

For max output power, use ubiquity XR5 cards.. You can use 4x90º sectors with one RB800 and 4 XR5 cards or 45º panels with 8 XR5 cards in 2x RB800. Or something like that.
With XR5 and one sector you will SEE the network at 100 KM if the CPE is a good one with big antenna…
Ok i see i thought 4 XR5 will take too much power for RB800. i will mount the systrem with POE of 48V,

If you need 2.4, you need to use XR2.
The problem is that if you send with a lot of TX power, perhaps the comunication will not work, because the CPE will not be capable to resent the data to the AP.
What you need to do exactly? How many KM you need to cover? how many people? type of CPE?
For point to multipoint
i have 50KM square to cover. and i can have all antenna relay of the City.
each antenna should cover at least 400 metter,
People will use directly laptop or mobile to connect in WIFI.
If we need to use CPE i have thought to use Ubiquity or engenuis in 2,4 or 5GHZ.
For us we can use both Frequency, we don’t have restriction of TX power

400 meters with laptops? You are going to make a network with lots of problems…
You must use CPEs and you can give access in small zones of the city directly to laptops.. like parks. It’s better to use cpes and 5ghz for that.
