How to configure Wireless Wire Cube Pro - CubeG-5ac60aypair

I have the pair set up and communicating using all the defaults (master at 192.168.88.2, slave at 192.168.88.3) .. can see them both in WinBox and login to both.

What I actually want to do is connect the master to a network (10.132.40.x) and have the slave connected to a switch, so that devices plugged into the switch pick up a DHCP address on the 10.132.40.x network (which provides a route out the the internet eventually).

I just can’t figure out how to do this. The master is actually physically attached to the 10.132.40.0 network but by default does not pick up an address on that network.

Sorry if this is an idiot question and thanks for any advice/help!

This worked .. adding a static IP address on the master and the slave (.9 on the master, .10 on the slave) enabled me to plug a laptop into the slave and get a properly assigned DHCP address on the 10.132.40.0 network. I don’t know if the is the correct/approved way of doing this, but it does seem to work!

/ip address add address=10.132.40.9/24 interface=ether1
/ip route add gateway=10.132.40.1
/ip dns set servers=1.1.1.1

Add a dhcp-client on the bridge.
Enable dhcp-client

Is that on the master or the slave? or both??

Hello the is the issue I am having. Currently I can’t not connect and I believe I have to set my ip to be able to reassign it to the working like this post earlier. Can someone help me write out a step by step instruction. I am new to Mikrotik and the IT guy left my friend hanging so I am still figuring this out. Everything works except cube pro that goes to the another part of the location. see picture what I see on Winbox thanks again. for your guys help! I need to make what I currently Cube AP 192.168.88.2, Cube 1 192.168.88.3. Cube 2 192.168.88.3 to make it:

Cube AP 10.1.100.60

Cube Shop1 10.1.100.14

Cube Small 2 10.1.100.148

Address gateway 10.1.100.10-10.1.100.254

Turn on Romon and don’t bother with the IP addresses.

thank you. is there anything I need to do different to do this? Thank you also. How many Wireless Wire Cube Pro can you connect on a network. I need to add another location. The access point is one spot but I know it comes in pairs but I only need to add another cube to talk the other cube. Is there hard to setup ill buy the pair but only need one to connect to existing network. thanks again
