I’M NEW IN THIS FORUM, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO CONNECT MY CABLE MODEM SERVICE (INTERNET) TO MY MIKROTIK RB 750 TO PRACTICE SOME THINGS ABOUT ROUTING.. I NEED TO PLUG TWO MORE LAPTOPS TO SIMULATE TWO DIFERENTS NETWORKS. THANKS!!!
First of all, please turn of caps lock.
Second of all, if it’s a 750, then all you should need to do is plug the cable modem into port 1 and your PCs into any of the other 4 ports. If I remember correctly the default configuration on a 750 is to have a DHCP client on Ether1 and ports 2-5 on the switch chip with a DHCP server running.
