how to connect internet via adsl router

hi all,

i’m a newbie…would you pls inform me how to configure mikrotik v2.7.14 to connect internet via 1X adsl router (aztech dsl305eu-connexant chipset).

interface (& routing) situation :

  • lokal1 : 192.168.0.254/24
  • lokal2 : 192.168.1.254/24
  • publik : 10.0.0.217/24
  • 0.0.0.0 gw : 10.0.0.217

ADSL-modem/router’s ip address :

  • ip : 10.0.0.2/24
  • DHCP : disabled
  • NAT : enabled
  • protocol : PPPoA VC-Mux, VPI : 1, VCI : 33
  • Auto IP, auto DNS, auto Proxy : enabled

condition :

  • dynamic ip (adsl modem/router)
  • masquerade is set-up (MT2.7.14)
  • ping to laptop (lokal1), to dns primary+secondary (in internet) : success

problem :
can’t browse the internet

You might want to consider upgrading to 2.9. I am not familiar with 2.7 configurations

Hey - I just found a version 2.5 installation still running some weeks ago :wink:

But yes, you (rzpr01) probably REALLY should upgrade…
