How to connect using OpenVPN without encryption on v.6.5+ ??

the subject

please answer anybody…

up!

You can’t. Previously you have selected none on client side, but ovpn still used default encryption algorithm. Now after changes you need to specify which encryption method to use or set to “any”.

But I need to use OpenVPN without encryption… Please give back this option… What do you mean “any”? Does it mean “without encryption”?

As I mentioned previously, even if you specified “none” server still used encryption.

how to report my proposal to the “wish list”?

Also looking for the ability to create a tunnel behind a NAT that-be to put 2 different types of traffic: regular and encrypted (through ipsec). Not found. PPTP and L2TP are not suitable, as the provider has closed all ports except 80 and 446 and GRE. Also I am very unhappy that OVPN has no compression option.

@Frozer: Please start your own topic if you expect answers, since there is no relation to the previous discussion.

I said “also”, which means that I am interested in is the problem of the author, as well as additional features that have secondary importance.

In version 6.22 seems developers have added support for OVPN without encryption. Many thanks! Went to test
