I have 433 with dual wireless card, One worked as CLIENT-Connected to back hall and another one-Worked as AP with 10 clients. I have problem in AP, The ping latency goes very very high like 800ms to 1200ms, So how to rectify ping rate like 10-50ms. Please help us.
How is the 433 set up?
Any bridges?
What ip/netmask is assigned on each interface?
Gateway (/ip route) and masquerade (/ip firewall nat) set up correctly?
We are using 2.4 Ghz Band and IP Address for 192.168.45.24/24, I am not configured firewall rules like Filters, MASQUERADE, NAT and etc.. How to solve?? Rply
It has been a while since I set up my last wds bridge, so someone correct me if I am wrong.
Do you have a bridge called “wds-bridge” with both interfaces on it?
Check “/interface bridge” and “/interface bridge port”
A way to dramatically minimize latency on wireless is to divide radios per access point on the same channel. When you have one AP with four+ stations, you may grab near the max throughput available equally with the cost of some latency. As the channel raise its utilization, increase latency. But if you put TWO AP on the same channel/ssid/location on each one you register two of that four radios, you may grab the same throughput with significantly decreased latency or none at all. Its all the relation between radio interfaces, not exactly the medium. Its not the best solution, but you may love it if you had a single AP with 80+ stations earlier.
