how to create web proxy on routeros 6.7

hi
i want to make an webcache on my router 951, i found some tutorials but there is no cache saved on drive. Can someone point me to full tutorial in english (what i’ve found was pakistani and brazilian, i dont speak this languages) and i dont like to use command line

This routerboard and other also can not save cache in the flash. For webproxy and cache you need other solution like squid in linux machine.

if i use routeros on a x86 machine, can i do that? i have a q9400 cpu and 2gb ram, 250gb hdd.

RouterOS is not good idea for cache feature, try other alternative like squid or payment solution like thundercache, cachevideo etc

Hello,
you can activate WebProxy at: IP → WebProxy → General → Enable :laughing:
In yours internet browser use IP address of your WebProxy Mikrotik and port (default 8080)

In your webbrowser you must set communication over your WebProxy.

Cache you can set on this tab to. But will be degraded flash memory every time …
