How to diagnose sxt sa5ac wireless problem?

I have 2 SXT5AC i set up as ptp bridge between house A and B with distance of about 200-300 meters . This afternoon suddenly the one at my house B acting as station bridge disconnected. It wouldn’t reconnect to the AP. I reboot the device and it still wont connect.

I begin to suspect there might be something wrong with the wireless module itsellf. I tried using scan and snoop tools, no ssid entries came up when scanning… while the other device display some ssid cluttering my neighbourhood.

How can i confirm if there is something wrong with the wireless module itself? How to diagnose? Thanks in advance.

And this the SXT AP, when I ran scan and freq. tools. You will see this one can see other SSIDs around the premise.

What do you think? any suggestion at all? These device haven’t been running more than 5 months and has already giving me trouble..

Have you done a reset configuration on the SXT, then a wireless scan? If it produces the same results then I would do a net install of a bug fix only release and try it from there. If nothing changes I would suggest doing an RMA on the device.

Yes, i did reset config on it, by pressing the black button near the ethernet port. Still nothing came up on wireless scan tool result. I haven’t done netinstall however. I’ll try it and report back. but i’m a bit skeptical.

Okay, I did netinstall and the symptom is still the same, wireless scan doesn’t show anything. Is my SXT consider a goner now?
Anyone else have any suggestion?

On another note, I’m planning to get SXTsq Lite5 for the time being, is it gonna work with my sxt sa5ac? I notice my current wireless is ac and the SXTsq Lite5 will be using normal wireless n standard.

Looks like the wireless card died,

The sxt qlite5 will work you just need to set the band to 5Ghz only N and not AC

Yeah looks like it. I did netinstall a few times. And the other day i was getting some ssid popped up when i scan the wireless. But it wont connect. After a reboot, it was back to nothing again.

So i ended up buying the sxtsq 5AC. The connection has been doing fine so far. Hopefully my other sxt sa5ac doesnt die like this.

I’m gonna ask around to see if the service center is able to repair it.
