I have a simple question. How can I disable annoying info logs created by hotspot whenever users log in or log off…
Sample:
Wireless info - XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX@HotSpot: connected
Wireless info - XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX@HotSpot: disconnected, received disassoc: sending station leaving(8)
To be honest I am not interested at these logs at all. I did go through any settings I could think of. I also searched for any scripts which would delete these logs with no luck.
In /system logging, change the “info” rule to be info,!wireless. Off to the right of the “info” drop down box, there are up and down arrows. Click the down arrow, change the new topic to wireless and them click what looks like a checkbox to the left, which is actually the “not” box.
Thanks a lot man… You are a star!
I knew it can be done somehow…
I have also disabled DHCP and Hotspot logs as I don’t need them. They occasionally popped up as well.
