I would like to know how to disable the LED’s on the RB750G, or even if it is possible.
The RB750G is plugged in behind my smart TV and is only acting as a five/four port ‘dumb’ switch with three cables plugged into it, one for the TviX device, one for the other for the Smart TV, and the other running back to the router.
Any reasonable suggestions would be appreciated.
Not possible, but you can put tape over them, put the router in a box, open the router up and desolder the lights, etc.

Your suggestions are pretty creative and desoldering sounds like the best option of them all. Desolder and replace with amber (yamaha coloured and more subtle on the eye) LED’s could work.
I am curious though as to why through winbox and via SSH I can apparently control the operation of the LED’s within the system without resorting to such measures as you have described.
Perhaps controlling the LED’s is simply not a valid function of the RB750G as you have suggested.
