how to disconnect pppoe link to isp

Hello,

is there a way to disconnect pppoe link to isp else of disabling the interface and enabling it again?

Why do you need to do that in another way? I think it’s not possible, But if yes, it is not easy as disabling and enabling it.

Reason for me posting this is i need some help just by someone who knows more than me
i have a 433uah and a 750g router
i need to connect 750g to my 433uah via lan and the 750g to work with all my rules eg: firewalll mangle proxy etc… thats on my 433uah
also my pppoe server and setup of pppoe dialup accounts to route through 750g as all my client pc’s will be connect via 750g

the reason i want a away else of disabling/enabling PPOE interface is sector writes to the routerboard disk. each disable/enable causes around 15 sector writes
