How to distribute /19 with new route package

Hi,

How can I distribute a /19 network to my partners with the new routing package? In the old one I used Networks, but this is missing in the new one.

Thanks
Krisz

Magic,

The only way I have found to do this so far is to put another router at the head end, and set BGP to statically route the full /19 to the router that you are currently distributing the subnets from. You will need to get another block that you are not announcing from your current ISP.

This is, like I said, one way to do it. I am hoping that we can find a better answer shortly.

Assign the /19 to a null interface and then setup the filters to announce it. We have been doing this since 2.9.6 without problems.

That does seem to work just fine in standard BGP cases, just not in multihop cases. I know I am probably the only one running multihop and running into this issue.

We run multihop in this fashion - although its on 2.9.7. TTL is 6, multihop is yes.
