How to do this?

Hi,
I would like to build a network.
With three buildings as you can see on the picture.
On building 1 there are 2 Mikrotik devices. The RB-951 is allso the DHCP server for each VLAN.
The[/img] SXT-AC must connect to bulding 2 SXT-AC.
On building 2 there is an OMNITIK to connect to building 3 SXT-G.
Building 2 and Building 3 must allso use the DHCP server on Building 1.
How t oconfigure eacht device?
Give me some red wire please.

Nobody?

Building 1 and Building 2 are connected with bridge and station bridge.
Please help me with the VLANs

Red wire? :astonished:

Actually there’s much more writing about it, than configuring…

RB951 building 1:
create a bridge interface for each vlan
add IP addresses to the bridge interfaces and configure respective DHCP server instances
create VLAN sub-interfaces on the interface towards the SXTAC
add the subinterfaces as ports to their respective bridges
configure a trunk port with vlan subinterfaces to connect a LAN switch for building 1 or configure access ports on the RB951
if needed, set up masquerade for the vlan subnets to the WAN interface, if there is a WAN on this router

RB951 B2:
create a bridge interface for each vlan
create VLAN sub-interfaces on the interface towards the SXTAC
create VLAN sub-interfaces on the interface towards the SXTG
add the subinterfaces as ports to their respective bridges
configure a trunk port with vlan subinterfaces to connect a LAN switch for building 2 or configure access ports on the RB951

RB951 B3:
create a bridge interface for each vlan
create VLAN sub-interfaces on the interface towards the SXTG
add the subinterfaces as ports to their respective bridges
configure a trunk port with vlan subinterfaces to connect a LAN switch for building 3 or configure access ports on the RB951

SXTAC B1 & B2, SXTG B2 & B3
setup the radios to connect, I assume you know how to do it
set the MTU on ether and WLAN interfaces higher than 1500, for example 2000, this is to enable switching packets with the vlan tag

On the SXT AC .
I configured one as BRIDGE and the other as STATION BRIDGE.
The 2 SXT AC’s are connected to each other.
But the VLANS is still not working.
What MTU must I change? MTU or L2MTU?
And I don’t hate to add the VLANS to the SXT AC?

MTU, not L2MTU.
You don’t need to add all the vlans on SXT devices. You only need to add these, which you need, for example for management access.

I think I need some more help.
Still it is not working.
I can’t change the MTU on the Ether1 and WAN interface.
If I want to change it and I hit apply then winbox close and when I reopen it the change is not there.

if there is someone who can help. That would be realy nice.

Weird. Should be possible. What version are you running?

The other possibility is to add vlan subinterfaces on wlan and ether interfaces of all SXT’s and bridges to connect them.

I Use last firmware 6.24

For the SXT AC I use this manual. Only change the setings voor AC (this manual is voor older SXT).
Is this correct if I want to use it for the VLANS or do I have to configure the VLANS on the SXT AC’s?
