I want to downgrade from RouterOS v7 to RouterOS v6. Is it possible?
I didn’t find any relevant instructions on the official website.
I hope to see all RouterOS versions supported by CCR2116-12G-4S+, thank you!
You can downgrade only to the “Factory Firmware” version.
You can check it in System/RouterBoard
Also, recently introduced Mikrotik models were designed to run v7 only - they are not going to expend effort adding support for new SoC and/or peripherals to v6.
