How to edit multiple devices in The Dude simultaneously

i’m trying to select and edit multiple devices simultaneously - eg to specify certain devices as routers and others as switches OR to edit the services polled on many devices
-when i multiple select like that it only edits the first device in the selection
-so i end up having to edit each device individually anyway

Is there a way to do this with a large number of devices?

I have not found a RELIABLE way to do this.

I can do it by selecting multiple units in the list format, and making the changes there. But many times they won’t take effect, or they will only take effect in half of the units (Randomly).

This is a real pain for doing mass changes. Especially alert settings. I’ve turned off alerts on every single device, and they still keep coming in randomly. (Yes I adjusted the global settings as well)

My only resolution was to set the SMTP server to a blackhole and not use alerts any more.
