Is there any way to route encrypted net2phone traffic wich will match net2phone carrier ?
My backbone provider blocked the net2phone service and my clients are suffuring .
If you’re provider is blocking things you’re in a different environment from what I’m used to. Maybe manipulating the packets in some way could evade you ISP’s packet shaper?
I know I don’t have a solution, does someone else?
Actually the provider is not blocking net2phone service. The thing is like , we have been using the AWE4 submarine backbone and the authority of this backbone is The Government of Bangladesh. So as they have declared that VOIP is illigal , they blocked Voip ports.
Now recently they have also blocked the net2phone service also. But I have a lot of foreigner clients who used use net2phone through my service to talk to their home countries , but now a days they are not being able to do so and everybody of them are comming to me for a solution. That is the reason i was looking for it so badly.
Recommendation would be to work with net2phone on a solution of maybe using non standard ports. Short of that you should be looking for a new provider.
Somone should offer you a VPN tunnel to US or elsewhere for voip and NTP traffic for a monthly fee, then you will be good. I cannot help with marking the VOIP packets for directing them to the VPN. You should use someone that has low latency to NTP or low latency to you.
p.m. me if you would like an offer, or post in another forum to request offers from many users.
If u want to block voice, then block some ports in 17udp protocol also u have to block some ports in tcp protocol in ur MT filter rules… i think it’s working now… if not, contact with me.. Zubair vhai… Thnxs
Dedicate a router just for the VoIP traffic, route all your VoIP traffic throughout that router, and the VoIP router should have a VPN tunnel with any other ISP outside your country, any neighbouring upstream provider with low latency and use that connection as VoIP gateway, you can check also with some VoIP providers in Europe maybe they can facilitate this kind of termination for you.
The easiest thing you should do is contact Net2phone,
is there any chance for you to setup any dedicated server or colocation server under their network.
Then you can setup any VPN from you reaching out your server@net2phone.
After that, your users would be very happy again ..
