How to Exclude Browsing From Bandwidth Limit?

i need to exclude browsing from Bandwidth Limit. so that users can get unlimited speed on browsing but have limit (like 512kbps) on Downloading.

is it possible?

Yes and no. Browsing and downloading is the exact same thing from a network perspective, as browsing a website is comprised of downloading all the files that make up the site and having the browser display them.

You can use mangle rules with the connection-bytes filter (http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Firewall_mangle) to mark connections that are downloading large files and then rate-limit those specifically. That will, however, be fuzzy. Some websites might contain flash files that are larger than your limit, and those would then download slowly, too.

You can use burst. for example your limit is 512k but burst limit is 4 mbit, when user connect to a web page, s/he can reach 4 mbit for 5 seconds then again 512k. it means opening web pages at 4mbit for first 5 seconds but downloading a file with 512k speed.

Can u tell me how can i do these settings via winbox?

i tried but not worked for me.

Thanks
