Hi,
I tried to copy the config of one Rb532 to another but failed for several
reasons. First of all it’s not possible to transfer a file to a unconfigured
RB via winbox. Filetransfer hangs after 62kB and winbox disconnects
after a while.
I configured an IP on the new box I could transfer the config via ftp.
I’ve tried via switch and via direct Ethernetcable-connection between
RB and PC.
So winbox filetransfer via MAC-Address does not work.
What do other users if they get an alarm at 3am in the morning
and need to replace a device. Just get the replacement device and
configure it manually? You’ve to dream about ROS to get this done
without errors 
What I would like to do is:
- open Winbox
- search new box on the ethernet
- connect
- copy backuped config-file to new device
- reboot
- deploy device
ROS-Config is to complicated and timeconsuming to have it done
manualy in case of urgency.
