Hi guys,
I don’t want to ask this in the wrong place, so please tell me if I am in the wrong spot!
Basically I am working on a project that is above me and need some help with some scripting. Are there people out there that would do this work for a small fee?
I need a couple of scripts that tie in with an application I am developing.
The fist script would read the signal strength of a wireless connection between two RB133’s connected with Ubiquiti SR9’s.
This script would then … somehow… send this data to a connected computer (via the Enet1 interface). for use in one of my apps. Not sure if it possible, but would like it to be via UDP or TCP to say port 3333… this script would send this value every 5 seconds or so.
The second script may or may not be a bit simpler…
This script sits and listens for a connection from my app. When it receives a connection (again via Enet1) on a known port, it would then perform a wireless scan and list all of the available networks back to the user. The user would then select the network of choice (via the SSID name or MAC address and return this to the script that would then connect the RB to that particular network.
Is any of this possible using a RB and scripting?
Please contact me either on list or at mullins at mac dot com
Thanks again guys,
James
